3 days!

Summer is almost here! It's amazing how the days of this past semester seemed to drag on, but the semester as a whole just flew by! I ended my first year of college with a completely different mindset and purpose in life than I began it with. I am so excited that in just three days I will be leaving for Elevate! If you haven't heard about Elevate, it is a 10 week missions project through Resonate Church. I will be on a team of college students from the University of Idaho and Washington State University, as well as 10 Resonate Church staff members. We will be living in La Jolla, California learning how to live in community, resolve conflicts, budget time and money effectively, as well as being required to have a summer job. We will also learn how to share the gospel through our everyday lives and love people out of Jesus' love for use. While building relationships with coworkers and customers, we hope to provide a community to display Jesus' love with our lives through cookouts, hangouts, games, etc.
I will be using this blog to keep my supporters, friends, and others updated on what we're learning, exciting stories, prayer requests, and everything else going on in our time there! :)
